Jeff joined Trusted Force after 6 years with Qwest Communications and Qwest Government Services, where he held several senior level positions across different parts of the enterprise, including Commercial Sales and Federal Program Management. Jeff started his career at Qwest as a founding member of its Managed Security Services group including network and data security, firewalls, intrusion detection, network based anomaly detection and virtual private networks.
Jeff also served as Program and Account Manager on a multi-million dollar account with several government agencies and leading systems integrators. This included The Department of Treasury's TCS contract (Treasury Communications System), Qwest's Government Services' largest civilian account providing network and telecommunications services to virtually all Treasury agencies. Jeff was responsible for all aspects of service delivery, client relations and professional services staffing. Later, as a Sales Executive, Jeff worked with a wide variety of enterprise customers, designing and selling solutions for wide area networks, IP telephony, network security, managed hosting and professional services.
Prior to his Qwest career, Jeff served as IT Director at the National Motor Freight Traffic Association, a non-profit organization supporting thousands of trucking companies throughout the U.S. and Canada. Jeff managed all web site development and network and systems administration for the association. He also hired and managed IT contractors to augment the association's personnel, utilizing the contractors to perform application development, network upgrades and customized database enhancements. Responsible for strategic planning and budgeting for all IT initiatives, Jeff reported directly to the association president and board of directors - gaining valuable insight and experience with executive-level processes related to IT spending and decision-making.
Jeff is a graduate of the University of Maine, with an honors degree in Economics and Philosophy. He lives with his wife Keonna and young son Maxwell in Falls Church, VA. He is also a hopeless soccer addict and a lifelong fan of the Scottish football club, Glasgow Celtic who, as Jeff will point out to anyone willing to listen, will one day reprise its 1967 European Cup win.
